IDU is pleased to invites you to its annual conference, Perspectives du marché immobilier de Montréal, to be held on February 25, from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

Weakened by the pandemic, major North American metropolitan areas are rebounding and competing boldly to attract investment, businesses, talent, and tourists.

What is the current landscape? Strengths and weaknesses. Which structuring investments can serve as levers? What should we expect from our leaders to demonstrate the importance of success—for Montréal… and for Québec.

Competition is fierce, and more than ever, Montréal must be creative and unifying to stand out from others and regain its attractiveness as a place to invest, to enjoy leisure, to work, and to live.

To discuss these issues, we will have the privilege of drawing on the expertise of :

• Maha Clour, Managing Director of Transgesco, a limited partnership enhancing the assets of the STM.
  Holder of a master’s degree in architecture with a project management profile from the Université de Montréal, Maha Clour is head of the Projet ligne bleue office.   In addition to these functions, Maha also manages Transgesco, the limited partnership that generates non-rate revenues for the STM through its commercial, technological and real estate activities.   Passionate about major public transit projects, she has demonstrated solid leadership in managing infrastructure projects and carrying out commercial development projects.
• Emna Braham, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Institut du Québec.
  Holding a master’s degree in economics from Queen’s University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal, she leads a team of economists dedicated to producing studies based on evidence and public policy proposals. She also contributes across various platforms aimed at making economic issues accessible to a broader audience.
• Yves Beauchamp, President and Chief Executive Officer of ADM Aéroports de Montréal.
  Mr. Beauchamp is a respected engineer recognized for his experience in managing large infrastructure and transformation projects. He previously served as Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance) at McGill University, where he oversaw major modernization projects; as Director General of the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS); and as Vice-Rector at the Université de Montréal, responsible for the development of the new Outremont campus.
• Isabelle Melançon, CEO of Urban Development Institute of Quebec.

Furthermore, during this event, the CEO of the IDU will present to you the main lines of our study on return to the office entitled The future of work is together, more often: Study on the essential benefits of in-person work for productivity, innovation and urban vitality in Greater Montreal.

Guest reception will begin at 11:30 a.m., offering attendees a networking period prior to the conference.
